Joseph E. Trader, M.D.

Training

After graduating from the Medical College of Wisconsin, Dr. Trader finished his Orthopedic Residency in Milwaukee and served in the U.S. Navy, obtaining his Board Certification in 1977.

Interests

Since joining Orthopaedic Associates in 1978, Dr. Trader continues to serve on multiple hospital committees at Holy Family Memorial Hospital, including service as Chief of Surgery and Chief of Staff. He also started the first Sports Medicine Clinic in Manitowoc at Holy Family Memorial.

Dr. Trader is a member, along with other medical organizations, of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American College of Surgeons and American College of Sports Medicine. He is also a member of The Mid America Orthopaedic Association, which seeks to enhance the musculoskeletal health and well being of all people through orthopedic education and research.
